Camille Vignaud (b. 1987, France) is an artist whose practice unfolds between photography, writing, and installation. Her work explores memory — its traces, its absences, its fragile materiality — through light-sensitive paper, archives, and poetic gestures. She investigates how images emerge and disappear, how matter retains memory, and how silence or erasure can become forms of presence.
Since 2011, she has been the founder of La Chambre Graphique, a studio dedicated to art direction and editorial design. For over a decade, she has created visual narratives for artists, cultural institutions, and luxury houses, while developing her own experimental practice. She also teaches image culture, typography, and editorial design in art and digital schools (Estienne, ECV, EEMI, Sornas, ISEG), encouraging students to explore the interplay between intuition, hand, and thought.
Her work has been exhibited at Galerie La Volante (Paris, Arles) and in collective projects such as Lux Naturae (Paris, 2025). She was shortlisted for the “Les Femmes s’exposent” Award (2025) and received the Antalis Creative Power Award (2022). Her projects have been published in Jane Magazine, Vogue Australia, and The Work Magazine, and she has been recognized as part of the Fresh Eyes Photo Talent selection (2022). She was also featured in the podcast Square Meters by The Room Project (listen here).
